An Overturned Crane Almost Killed A Child Who Was Playing At Home

A terrifying incident unfolded yesterday in Atherton, Wigan (UK), when a crane narrowly missed a child playing in a nearby garden before crashing through the roof of a house. 

The drama began when the crane overturned on Fold Lane. Thankfully, a child who had just been playing in the house next door had moved inside seconds before the accident. 

The overturned crane toppled over, "slicing" through the roof of the terrace home, according to a witness. Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident
