A motorcyclist was killed after a three-vehicle crash on the South Side, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Southwest Military Drive and Logwood Avenue.
Police, citing multiple witnesses, said the motorcyclist was traveling westbound through an intersection on Southwest Military Drive when he struck the driver’s side door of a truck, an SAPD preliminary report said.
The report stated that the truck and the third vehicle, a sedan, both had green lights.
After hitting the truck, the motorcycle and the vehicle caught fire. The man on the motorcycle, also on fire, hit the sedan as it passed, the report said.
The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name, cause and manner of death are still pending from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as of Monday morning.
SAPD’s report said the drivers of the two vehicles were monitored for minor injuries
