A bike ride to attend a marriage yesterday ended in tragedy for two siblings in India. The brother-sister duo were killed when they fell off the bike and came under the wheels of a lorry which suddenly turned left.
J.C. (25), worked in a pharmaceutical firm, while his sister M.M. (24) married just a year ago, police said.
The lorry driver, S, was taken into custody. Police registered a case under IPC Section 304 A (negligence causing death)
