The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the North Bergen Police Department are investigating a fatal crash that killed a pedestrian.
At approximately 12:04 p.m. on the 8th, the North Bergen Police Department was notified of a pedestrian struck in the area of Tonnelle Avenue and 91st Street. Responding officers found the lifeless body of a woman and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer, a 38-year-old Texas man, continued on Tonnelle Avenue, stopped in the area of 68th Street, and called 911
