The Man Who Shot From The House Came Out To The Police With A Gun And Of Course Was Killed

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office have released bodycam video from a fatal OIS that took place on January 10th involving a suspect who was firing a gun from his apartment; and then towards responding law enforcement. 

Gandhi said the standoff was taking place along the 4700 block of Marconi Avenue and negotiators were speaking with the suspect to get him to come out and surrender peacefully.

In the leadup to the shooting, Gandhi said deputies were able to get the man to get out of the apartment around 9:40 p.m., but he exited with a gun. Gandhi said there was an exchange of gunfire between the suspect and three deputies. The man was [killed]
