New images showing the altercation that occurred on Wednesday (9) between military police officers and residents of the Parque das Américas subdivision, in the Benedito Bentes neighborhood, in Maceió, dispute the family's version, which accuses the officers of having abused their authority during the approach. The family's version - son-in-law, mother-in-law and her husband - is that the military police officers had violently approached one of those involved, who, at the time, was holding a child in his arms. Faced with the alleged danger, the woman, whose identity was not revealed, had tried to remove the child from that situation, when, according to her version, the officers had pointed a gun at her and thrown pepper spray in her direction.

The video, which shows part of the situation, shows the woman locked inside her home, while the police are outside, apparently trying to get around the situation. The resident appears in the images with her arm cut and bleeding profusely. Shards of glass, which are believed to be from the door of the residence, appear outside the house, which would show that the woman herself could have cut herself when trying to break the glass in the door to get out.
