Police Shoot Male With Knife
Incident occurred on the 20th March 2022.The officers arrived after calls from the public that a male was running around with a knife, threatening to stab members of the public.
They surrounded the suspect who ignored the order to drop the knife. When the man ran towards a police officer, fire was opened and the suspect hit three times.
He was transported for emergency medical treatment, but his life was not in danger.
An investigation has been opened into the attempted murder also of a person of high state authority.
The reason the man reacted in this way is unclear, it was only spoken an a 'nervous crisis'
