Man Provokes Cops To Kill

On Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 8:30 P.M., officers from the Northeast Policing District were dispatched to Vinland Park at 4695 East Gettysburg Avenue regarding a subject waving a gun.
It was unknown to the officers at the time that the 9-1-1 caller was making a false report with the intent to force a confrontation with the officers in a suicide-by-cop attempt.
Two patrol officers and one K-9 officer responded to the call. The contact with the subject, later identified as 30-year-old Gonzalo Aceituno Jr., resulted in an officer-involved shooting
