Two Men Aged 25 And 27 Were Arrested For Attempted Murder

Two men, aged 27 and 25, were arrested this Friday (11/29) by the Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO) for involvement in an attempted murder recorded in July of this year, in Águas Lindas (GO). The suspects, who are cousins, were sentenced to 30 days in prison.

The crime took place on July 21, around 11 pm, inside a distributor. Security camera footage shows an argument and then a man in a white t-shirt entering the store armed with a knife. He stabs a young man in a black t-shirt in the head.

The victim tries to run away and the attacker chases her. Outside the establishment, two men still attacked the young man. At the time, the person who stabbed him was arrested in the act. The other two involved managed to escape, but were located and arrested this Friday. The identities of the three have not been released.

According to the Homicide Investigations Group (GIH), the conflict began with an argument between the victim and the partner of the attacker who used the knife. The injured young man had to be admitted to the Ceilândia Regional Hospital (HRC), but recovered and was discharged a few days later.
