An attempted robbery at a gas station in the Pasaje canton ended in a violent confrontation that left one suspect dead and another wounded on the afternoon of Friday, January 23.
The incident occurred at the P&S service station, located on the road to Buenavista, where armed individuals reportedly arrived with the intention of robbing the station.
A shootout ensued between the suspects and National Police officers who were conducting patrols in the area.
During the intervention, one of the suspects was killed after firing at the officers, while the second was wounded and taken to a medical facility under police custody
