The man in question is Andrey Tisarev, head of the aircraft engine thermal physics and gas dynamics design department at the UEC Kuznetsov Design Bureau. According to Ivanov, he was killed on the evening of July 15 on Lukacheva Street in Samara.
Tisarev held a PhD in engineering and was the author of patents in the field of aircraft engine engineering. According to Ivanov, the engineer's developments were used in Russian strategic aviation.
"He facilitated Russian missile strikes against Ukrainian civilians using Russian strategic launch vehicles and bombers," Ivanov wrote.
The UEC Kuznetsov plant, where the engineer worked, manufactures and maintains power plants for Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 aircraft. The plant also produces engines for Mi-26 heavy transport helicopters.
Ivanov reported that the volunteer unit "Budanov's Detachments," which had not previously been publicly disclosed, was involved in the operation.
A representative of the Budanov Detachments assured that everyone involved in crimes against Ukraine will be identified and punished.
"All Russian crimes are documented and personalized; retribution for them will be inevitable, no matter where in the rear their perpetrators are hiding," the movement's members noted.
Earlier, Kirill Budanov stated that everyone involved in Russian terrorism and war crimes against Ukraine will ultimately receive a fair and inevitable sentence.
