A 24-Year-Old Drug Addict Shot His Stepmother On The Street In Front Of Her Daughter

A blood-curdling murder took place in Gaziosmanpaşa. Özkan Y. (24), who was allegedly not wanted at home by his father and stepmother because he used drugs, killed his stepmother by shooting her in the head with a gun in the middle of the street. The moment of the attack was captured on a workplace security camera.


The incident took place around 11.50 today in Karayolları District. According to the information obtained, 24-year-old Özkan Y., who used drugs, was asking his stepmother Dilek Y. and his father for money to buy drugs and threatening them when they were not given.


.After what happened, Özkan Y., who was unwanted at home, followed his stepmother Dilek Y. (38) and her sister walking on the street for a while. Özkan Y. shot two shots at Dilek Y.'s head with the gun in his hand and ran away from the scene. Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.


It was determined by the medical teams that Dilek Y. had died. Police teams started an operation to capture Özkan Y
