A 40-Year-Old Husband Shot His 35-Year-Old Wife In The Middle Of The Street. Turkey

In Arnavutköy, Istanbul, Harun Gül (40) shot and killed his wife Serpil Gül (35), who was going through a divorce, in the middle of the street. According to the allegations, Harun Gül did not allow the ambulance to enter the street and waited at the head of Serpil Gül. Harun Gül, who was called by police teams with a vehicle megaphone, surrendered to the police after a while by lying on the ground. Surrounding citizens recorded the blood-curdling murder with a cell phone camera.
The blood-curdling incident took place at around 13.45 in Arnavutköy Taşoluk Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Serpil Gül (35) and Harun Gül (40), who have been in the divorce process for 2 years, came together yesterday for the circumcision ceremony of one of their 2 children. Allegedly, an argument broke out between the two this morning over the issue of 'you take care of the children'. Harun Gül chased his wife Serpil Gül on the street with the gun he had with him. When Gül fell down in the middle of the street, Harun Gül shot her 3 times in the head and killed her.
A large number of police teams and ambulance arrived at the scene upon the incident. Harun Gül, who allegedly did not allow the ambulance to enter the street, waited for Serpil Gül whom he killed. Harun Gül surrendered to the police with his gun after police teams called him with a vehicle megaphone.
