Nursing technician Rosilene Barbosa do Espírito Santo, 38, was killed by her ex-husband with shots at point-blank range in a beverage distributor in Rio Verde, in the southwest of the state (see above). According to delegate Adelson Candeo, the crime occurred on Saturday afternoon (29) and the man committed suicide shortly afterwards.
The video recorded by security cameras and shared by the police shows Rosilene arriving at the distributor and appearing to be using her cell phone. A man in a green shirt approaches her and shoots several times. She falls to the ground. The man turns his back and walks away.
Adelson said that the distributor where Rosilene Barbosa was killed is near the house of the friend where she was staying to avoid her ex-husband.
According to the delegate, Rosilene was killed with at least four shots. She had sought police assistance a week earlier to request an emergency protective order due to threats from her ex-husband and was living at a friend's house with the couple's 12-year-old son.
