Several People Were Killed In The Fire, Including A Child.

 In an alleged manifestation of intra-party feud in West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress , 8 persons, including 2 children, were charred to death.
The "murder" of a local leader of the party sparked widespread violence.
The incident took place soon after the alleged murder of Trinamool Congress leader Bhadu Sheikh, deputy chief of the local panchayat.

Some 10 houses all in the locality caught fire as the hand made explosives burst on their doors and walls, with the roofs, which were either thatched or tin coverings, providing easy fodder for the inferno.

Around 10-12 houses were set on fire. A total of 10 dead bodies have been recovered, 7 dead bodies were received from a single house
