The young Genesis Daniela Lugo, who committed suicide by throwing herself Monday morning from a fourth floor with her daughter in her arms, in the Marañon 1 sector, in Santo Domingo Norte, Villa Mella, allegedly committed the act after she discovered her sister allegedly raping the girl.

The alleged aggressor, Omayra Antonia Lugo Cruz, (the girl's aunt), will serve three months in the Najayo Women's Correction and Rehabilitation Center, for sexually assaulting her niece and forcing her to watch pornography.

According to information, Omayra Antonia Lugo Cruz, lived with her mother and took advantage of when the girl visited the house to sexually violate her by touching her genitals, and also forced her to perform oral sex on her.

Criminal Resolution No. 0670-2024, establishes that the accused Antonia Lugo Cruz, accused of raping the little girl identified with the initials G.D.M.L., 5 years old, sexually assaulted her niece.
The document also states that when Omayra Antonia Lugo Cruz was discovered by the girl's mother (her sister), Genesis Lugo, talking to her by video call, where she told her aunt that she did not want to see her private parts again, she shouted at the little girl and hung up the phone.

Later, Genesis Lugo, before committing suicide, asked her daughter about the conversation, but the girl denied the facts in the first instance, since she was threatened and said that it was a secret between her and her aunt, but then the girl confessed what had happened to her mother.

It is recalled that a month before, specifically on July 24, Radhames Melo Matos, father of the five year old girl, and husband of Genesis Lugo, (now deceased), had denounced his wife's sister for sexually abusing the minor.
