A Class X student of Shastra Global School died by suicide at a school in Shadnagar on Wednesday.The deceased has been identified as the son of BJP Shadnagar town president Haribhushan. According to Shadnagar police, the student took his life on the school premises after allegedly being reprimanded by the principal. The scolding reportedly led the child into depression, leading him to take the extreme step. CCTV footage, later circulated on media platforms, shows students discovering the boy’s body in the ground and promptly informing the school management. In the meantime, the students’ parents and relatives staged a protest in front of the school. A case has been registered and Shadnagar police have taken up investigation into the incident.
