Student Committed Suicide After A Conflict With His Father

A 17 year old girl from Madhepura in Bihar was preparing for NEET-UG in Rajastan, when she jumped from the 6th floor of her hostel and committed suicide on Saturday morning. Police said that the deceased student has been identified as Shikha Yadiv.
Police said she had an argument with her father over the demand for books and other things. On Friday the father arrived to take his daughter home with him, in accordance with Covid guidelines. He was packing her books and study materials when she suddenly ran to the 6th floor and jumped from the balcony.
The student was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
