Man Sets Himself On Fire In Protest In Front Of Nepal's Parliament Building

A 37-year-old businessman, p.p.a., died a day after committing self-immolation in front of the nepal parliament building in Kathmandu. He had suffered 80% burns.
P., from Ilam district (just over 300 miles away from Kathmandu), had posted several social media posts detailing the financial and mental problems he had suffered for years. P. claimed to have made multiple suicide attempts previously.
The incident occurred right in front of nepal's prime minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal. neither he nor the government have made any statements in connection to the incident. after the incident, a group of youths protested outside the government building, demanding justice for P.
