The Bus Driver Died While Driving. The Conductor Prevented A Disaster. India

A heartbreaking incident took place in Bengaluru. While driving a bus, BMTC driver Kiran Kumar suffered a heart attack and collapsed on his seat. Noticing the driver, conductor Obalesh immediately climbed on the driver's seat, held the steering wheel and controlled the bus. Later, the conductor tried to save the driver, but to no avail. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.


The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has expressed its deepest condolences to the family of Kiran Kumar, a driver of Depot 40, who died of a sudden heart attack on November 6. “The corporation prays for the peace of his soul. Senior officials from BMTC visited the family and expressed their condolences. An ex-gratia payment has been provided to help with the last rites,” BMTC said in a statement.
