Hafiz e Quran death after brutal attack in Mailardevpally, Hyderabad has shocked residents after a 25-year-old youth succumbed to injuries sustained in a violent assault. The incident took place in the Old City area and has now turned into a murder case, police confirmed.
According to police information:
On February 17, a man named Mohammad Ghouse allegedly called Mohammad Arif to his house to discuss an issue related to an email account
Arif reached the location along with his friends Fardeen and Asim
During the discussion, Ghouse and his son allegedly assaulted them
The victims managed to escape from the house after the initial attack.
Assault Escalated After Friends Arrived
After escaping:
Fardeen informed his brother Hafiz Muzammil (25) about the attack
Muzammil, along with a few others, went to Ghouse’s house
Police said that around seven people, including some locals, allegedly attacked Muzammil and his companions using:
Iron rods
Sticks
They also reportedly damaged vehicles belonging to the victims.
Victims Shifted to Hospital
Those injured in the assault included:
Hafiz Muzammil
Fardeen
Abdul Rayyan
All were rushed to hospital for treatment. Muzammil remained in critical condition for several days.
Hafiz Muzammil Succumbs to Injuries
On Sunday, Hafiz Muzammil, a young Hafiz e Quran, died while undergoing treatment, turning the incident into a tragic case. His death has caused grief among family members and locals in the area.
Case Converted to Murder
Police said:
A case was initially registered under attempt to murder provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)
After Muzammil’s death, sections were altered to murder charges
Investigators are now working to identify all accused and determine the exact motive behind the attack.
Investigation Continues
Officials stated that further legal action will follow as evidence and statements are being collected. Security has also been tightened in the locality to prevent any tension.
