Dude Tried To Steal Wires From The Transformer But Burned Out At Work

A theft of aluminum wires ended in death late Friday night (March 3) in the Betânia neighborhood, in the western region of Belo Horizonte. A man, still unidentified, died after trying to saw the wire and ending up being electrocuted. The victim's body was attached to the cables and had to be removed by the Fire Department. The military were called by the residents of Rua das Orquídeas, near Avenida Úrsula Paulino, around 11:30 pm. Upon arriving at the scene, they spotted the victim trapped near the power transformer, on top of a lighting pole, already unconscious.
