The Dude Was Very Upset By The Death Of A Friend And Wished To Burn With Him In A Funeral Pyre

A 42-year-old man from Agra, India, R., who was upset by the death of his childhood friend, jumped into his friend's funeral pyre on the banks of the Yamuna river. He suffered 90% burn injuries, and died on the way to hospital.
According to R.'s brother, R. and his friend, A.K.L., went to the same school, often performed together during musical ceremonies, and had even married on the same day. A. had been diagnosed with cancer two years previous, and R. had helped pay for his medical expenses
