Parachutist Dies After Crash Landing at the Beach

55-year-old parachutist G.d.O. died during a landing last Thursday. The victim was from São Paulo and participated an event that was authorized by an Institute for Biodiversity Conservation and other competent authorities.
The parachutist lost control of the parachute when it was about 15 meters above the ground. The maneuver he was trying to do is known as the “low turn” and occurs when the jumper changes the direction of flight very close to the ground. The moment was captured by a witness.
The victim was referred to the Regional Hospital but he could not resist the injuries of the fall. The Civil Police investigates the causes of the accident
