Less than 24 hours after the execution of Matheus Rodrigues de Souza, 24, who was killed in a convenience store, a young woman who was with him at the time of the crime was kidnapped, killed and dismembered in Eunápolis. The body of the victim, identified only as Ana Beatriz, was found on the morning of Wednesday (25). According to a police source, the main line of investigation is that Ana was executed in response to Matheus' death. "Although she was with him shopping, criminals believe that she gave away Matheus' location at the convenience store so that the killer could catch him by surprise," he says, without identifying himself. The images from the security cameras at the crime scene were leaked and went viral in Eunápolis. The police believe that, because of these images, the drug traffickers responsible for killing Ana Beatriz began to believe that she was involved in planning the attack that ended in Matheus' death
