Officers responded to a call about an intoxicated man yelling and breaking windows in an apartment. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the suspect was carrying a knife and ordered him to surrender it. When he refused, a struggle ensued, during which he attempted to stab one of the officers, who was wearing a bulletproof vest. The officer responded with gunfire. The suspect was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
