17-Year-Old Drug Dealer Killed In Shootout With Police

A 17-year-old teenager died during a confrontation with military police this Saturday morning (9) in Porto Real (RJ). The exchange of gunfire took place in the Village neighborhood.


According to the PM, the agents tried to approach the teenager and a 23-year-old man during a routine patrol. They were on a motorcycle and fled.


At this point, a pursuit of the vehicle began. During the escape, the teenager shot towards the police and shot one of the officers in the eye. They retaliated and there was a confrontation.


Still according to the PM, during the shooting, the teenager was hit by a gunshot. He succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.


A forensic team was called in to gather information that could help the Civil Police in their investigations. The body will then be taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML).


The military police officer shot in the eye was rescued and taken to the Resende Emergency Hospital. g1 contacted the medical unit to update the patient's health status and is awaiting a response.


According to the Civil Police, the teenager, who had already been apprehended just over a month ago, and the young man who was with him on the motorcycle are involved in drug trafficking in the city. The young man was arrested red handed with a pistol.


The young man was taken to the Porto Real police station and is at the disposal of the courts.
