Olanchito Yoro
On the morning of this Monday, August 25th, a security guard was shot and killed by armed men in a vehicle outside a supermarket in the municipality of Olanchito, Yoro.
The deceased was identified as José Luis Arita, 50, who was assigned to guard a delivery truck parked at the supermarket located in the Libertad Sur neighborhood.
In the video, a hooded man and another man wearing a red cap, holding pistols, got out of a white pickup truck to rob the delivery truck.
Arita tried to draw his firearm to defend his colleagues, but the assailants approached him and shot him, causing him to collapse from his wounds.
The assailants got into the truck to flee, while other men approached to help José Luis Arita.
