On Monday morning (December 22nd), a man identified as José Luiz Coutinho, 46 years old, was shot and killed in the center of the city of São José de Mipibu, in the Metropolitan Region of Natal.
According to reports, two unidentified men approached the victim, who owned a business located in a square, and fired several shots. After the crime, the suspects allegedly took a bag from the victim, removed an object from inside, and abandoned it nearby.
The victim was agonizing, but did not survive his injuries and died at the scene. Locals were shocked by the violence that occurred in broad daylight and right in the heart of the city.
No concrete information has yet been released regarding the perpetrators and motives of yet another homicide in Mipibu territory.
