A woman with the initials N (53) and her child NA (14) were allegedly killed by her own husband on Jl Kunduri Lrg 2, Balaroa Village, West Palu District, Palu City.
This murder incident occurred right when people throughout the archipelago were exercising their right to vote in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections, Wednesday (11/27/2024) morning.
Temporary information quoted from TribunPalu.com, the 14-year-old child was executed not far from his mother while she was sleeping.
One witness said the incident occurred at around 06.00 WITA.
At that time he was opening the back door of the house to go to the toilet.
Suddenly the perpetrator approached the witness while beating him using a long iron.
Luckily the blow did not hit witness 1.
The witness then ran out to the front door to save himself.
Meanwhile, witness 2 said that at around 06.05 WITA the perpetrator went on a rampage in his house.
Then witness 2 went to the victim N's house.
At that time he found the victim lying in front of the boarding house door covered in blood.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator had fled.
At around 06.10 WITA, the perpetrator committed assault on the Imam of the Nurul Tijarah Mosque, Muhammad Nasir.
