A 32-year-old Civil Police officer was shot dead by a robber on Tuesday morning (14) on Amaro Guerra Street, in Santo Amaro, in the southern part of São Paulo. The SSP-SP (São Paulo Public Security Department) said that the criminal fired when he realized that the officer was armed.
What happened
Security cameras captured the crime. The images, obtained by UOL columnist Josmar Jozino, show the criminal - who was wearing a delivery backpack - stopping his motorcycle next to a dumpster with rubble. Next, the officer, identified as Josenildo Belarmino, is seen walking down a street, wearing a black t-shirt and flip-flops.
