A new bloodbath shook the Metropolitan area this Wednesday. In broad daylight, a hitman killed Reynaldo Manotas de Moya, known as Ray Manotas, a renowned music programmer from the city.
The attack occurred around 2:40 p.m. on 49th Street and 3A Street, in the Gallo Blanco area of the Carrizal neighborhood. According to witnesses, Manotas was sitting in front of a house when he was approached by two men on a motorcycle. The passenger got off, approached the victim, and shot him directly in the head and back, killing him instantly.
After the crime, the killers fled at full speed. Neighbors rushed to help Manotas, but he was no longer showing any vital signs. The police cordoned off the area, and forensic units inspected the body.
