A woman identified as Erivânia was shot dead on Friday afternoon (14), in a place known as "O Quadro", in the municipality of Capoeiras, in the Agreste region of Pernambuco.
According to preliminary information, Erivânia was hit by several shots and was taken to the hospital, but did not survive her injuries and died shortly afterwards. The victim was well known in the city of Caetés, where she worked as a seller of the "2.00 for 500.00" lottery ticket.
To date, the motive and perpetrators of the crime remain unknown. Civil Police have already begun investigations to clarify the circumstances of the homicide
