The victim was identified as Cícero Flor de Araújo, a married man living on Rua João Alexandre de Souza.
According to the Military Police, around 12:45 a.m., officers were called to the scene after receiving a report of a homicide at the establishment known as Bar de Irimar. When they arrived, officers found the victim lying on the ground, already dead, with serious head injuries from a gunshot.
The bar owner reported to the police that Cícero had been shot, but could not identify the shooter. So far, there are no identified suspects or information about the motive for the crime.
According to reports from locals, hooded men arrived at the bar, shot the victim, and then fled. The identity of the perpetrators and the motive for the crime are still unknown.
The area was cordoned off by the Military Police until the arrival of the Civil Police, who took over the investigation and forensic procedures. The case will be investigated to identify the person responsible for the homicide.
