Gym Owner Shot While Working Out

Cúcuta A 54-year-old man identified as William Nelson Peña was murdered inside a gym located on 19th Street and 7th Avenue in the Santa Teresita neighborhood in the La Libertad citadel.
According to the information provided by the authorities, the victim, a National Police pensioner and owner of the establishment, was training when two men wearing helmets entered and after struggling, they hit him with a bullet that ended his life.
A 23-year-old identified as Harold Monsalve, who was shot in the mouth, was also injured in the incident.
The relatives of the deceased today, assure that they had not received any threat and were not victims of extortion, for which they ask the authorities to clarify the motives for this act of blood.
For their part, the Police are studying the recordings of the security cameras in order to determine the identity of the attackers.
