The Wife Killed Her Husband And Throws Out Pieces Of The Brain From The Split Skull

The Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday arrested a Dalit woman in Shahjahanpur for allegedly crushing her husband’s head with a brick following a dispute over lunch.

The victim, identified as Satyapal, 40, was employed as a watchman on contract at a stadium.

When the police arrived, they found the woman sitting on the body, hitting the skull with a brick, and discarding parts of the skull. The murder occurred in full public view.

A video and photograph of the incident is circulating on social media.

The police said the relatives of the accused Gayatri Devi, 37, claimed she was mentally ill but were unable to provide any medical documentation.

“We have arrested the woman on murder charges and will produce her before a local court in Shahjahanpur today (Friday),” said Sanjay Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police.

Satyapal had been married for more than 18 years. He was a habitual drinker and used to quarrel with his wife. Their children lived with their grandmother in a house located some distance away.

According to the police, on Thursday afternoon, a police team passing through the Hartora locality noticed a large crowd gathered outside a house.

Upon approaching the spot, they saw Gayatri Devi with the body.

A policeman asked the women in the crowd to stop her, but no one was willing to help. At the police’s request, the woman eventually stepped away from the body.

The police immediately secured the body and informed senior authorities, who rushed to the scene.

During the preliminary inquiry, it was revealed that Satyapal and Gayatri Devi frequently fought over various issues. Due to the constant arguments, Gayatri Devi was reportedly suffering from depression.

According to the police, on Thursday, Satyapal asked Gayatri Devi to prepare a non-veg meal for lunch. When he returned home in the afternoon and found that the meal had not been prepared, he questioned Gayatri Devi. She explained that she didn’t have money to buy meat.

Satyapal then berated her for not asking him for money to purchase the meat. The argument escalated, and Satyapal struck Gayatri Devi on the head with a stick. Enraged, Gayatri Devi picked up a brick and struck Satyapal on the head, causing him to stumble and fall outside the house. She continued to hit his head with the brick until he died.
