Footage Of A Man Attacking A Woman With A Knife. Brazil

A shocking video circulating on social media this Tuesday (25) shows a woman being brutally attacked with a machete by a man. The incident took place on a street in the municipality of Mojuí dos Campos, in western Pará. 


According to preliminary information, the two were arguing when the man became agitated, grabbed the machete and started out blindly, trying to hit the woman at all costs. “You shameless old man, with no future!!!”, the woman shouts in the middle of the street as she runs away from the man. In the images, the woman tries to defend herself with a piece of wood while facing the attacker, who advances in a threatening manner. At that moment, several neighbors try to intervene and make the man drop the machete. 


At one point, she falls to the ground, and the man takes the opportunity to attack her, with the clear intention of striking her several times. Fortunately, the woman managed to escape, despite being injured, which caused relief among the neighbors who were desperate at the scene. There is still no information about what caused the conflict.
