A powerful explosion once again shattered the tranquility of the residents of the City of Batik. A deadly firecracker explosion occurred in Kuripan Kidul, Kertoharjo Village, RT 02/01, Pekalongan on Monday afternoon (March 23, 2026). Tragically, three teenagers assembling a large firecracker fell victim to the ferocity of the gunpowder explosion. Chronology of the Incident The incident began when the three teenagers were busy assembling firecrackers in a banana plantation on the outskirts of the village. The location, thought to be far from parental supervision, became a silent witness to the disaster. During the assembly process, one of the large firecrackers suddenly exploded prematurely.
