A 22-year-old man, Jonailton was pursued and killed inside a community kitchen on the 10th. Reportedly, Jonailton and another man had requested a taxi ride. During the journey, the two men announced a robbery and stole the taxi.
However, the taxi was equipped with an immobilizer system, which activated after the two men fled. Jonailton and his accomplice fled, with Jonailton trying to hide in a local community kitchen.
However, Jonailton was caught by a group of around nine people, and he was killed with multiple gunshot wounds and stabs.
Two days later, Jonailton's corpse was exhumed at the local cemetery by members of a rival criminal faction. The body was then beheaded and gutted, before being set ablaze. The head has not yet been located
