A young man, deeply shaken by the recent death of his father, committed suicide by intentionally crashing his motorcycle into a semi-truck this Saturday morning (August 4th). The impact was head-on, and death was instantaneous.
Witnesses to the accident told police that the motorcycle rider deliberately drove his motorcycle into the truck. A few minutes before the collision, the young man sent a farewell message to a family member via WhatsApp, in which he vented about his struggle with depression.
In the emotional message, he said: "I've been pushing the depression for three weeks now, as long as I can't. I'm sorry, Mom, I love you, this is my life. And from there, I'll take care of you. I love you."
The case is being investigated by the Civil Police, which has already ruled out an accident, ruling it out as a clear act of suicide. The tragedy reinforces the importance of discussing mental health and offering support to those who are suffering.
