The police reported that during her testimony, the teenager confessed to participating in the crime and also reported that she is part of a criminal group operating in the districts of Caraíva and Pindorama, which belong to Porto Seguro.
According to the Civil Police, the teenager said that her mother was killed because of debts from drug trafficking and the victim's resistance to accepting her daughter's participation in the criminal scheme, having even threatened to report the gang members.
The girl is at the disposal of the Children and Youth Court. The Civil Police are also looking for three men suspected of involvement in the crime.
