National Police spokesman, journalist Diego Pesqueira, reported that a former member of the Dominican Air Force, Fabio Diomedes Beriguete, shot and killed his wife, Ofranny Canario, his son, Santo Canario Montero Canario, his daughter-in-law, Scarlin Román, and wounded his other son, Andy Montero Canario.
After committing the crime, the former captain chose to take his own life in the Nuevo Amanecer neighborhood.
The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. this Monday, Diego Pesqueira said.
The bloody incident occurred early Monday morning at 31 Juan Bautista Street in the Nuevo Amanecer neighborhood, near the San Isidro Air Base.
The National Police immediately arrived at the scene of the tragedy to conduct initial investigations and begin their investigation.
