Arrested A Man Who Cut Off His Wife's Head With A Saw In The Street

A man has been arrested in Shakopee in connection with a killing that saw a woman beheaded 
The incident was reported at 2:31 p.m. near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Spencer Street.
The victim has been identified as 55-year-old America Mafalda Thayer, of Shakopee, who was found by police on the sidewalk with stab wounds. The suspect is a 42-year-old man also from Shakopee, who is being held on suspicion of 2nd-degree murder.
