Campos - Lawyer Bárbara Damião Costa, 41, was shot dead in the early evening of Tuesday (21) inside her vehicle, a Fiat Palio, in the Parque Novo Jockey neighborhood, in Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ). The main suspect is the victim's ex-partner, Rogério Conceição da Costa, who was found dead shortly after the crime.
The police are investigating the dynamics of the events, collecting technical evidence at the crime scene and in the victim's vehicle. Some witnesses are being heard and witnesses are being heard to formalize the conclusion of the investigation as femicide followed by suicide, since the suspect's body was located by police teams in a condominium about an hour after the murder.

The Women's Police Station (DEAM) is the specialized unit of the Civil Police for registering incidents, providing humane support, and requesting emergency protective measures for women.
